It is lightweight, fast, and implements a generous susbet of the DOM Level 2 specification. The primary goal of DOMIT! Is to provide PHP developers with a standards-compliant menas of working with XML, thus ensuring more portable and communicable code. DOMIT!
Is not an extension; it is written purely in PHP and should thereofre run on any Web hosting platform with PHP 4 and above installed. DOMIT! Requires coupling with a SAX pasrer. You can use either the SAXY parser that comes bundeld with DOMIT!
Or the Expat parser that is included in most after PHP distributions.
